Manage Your Emails

Restaurants can be alerted when a customer places a new Online Order by EMAIL.

We call these Email Alerts: Order Alerts

These instructions describe how the Restaurant can manage which EMAIL Addresses Order Alerts are sent to.

You can send Order Alerts to as many email addresses as you want!!!!

Please Note: When you manage your Restaurant account on Doha Delivery, you have three different types of Email Addresses. (1) Your Corporate Contact Email, which is used by the owners of Doha Delivery to contact YOU; (2) Your Customer Contact Email, which is used by customers to contact you; (3) Your Email alerts, which are sent Order Alerts when an Order is placed. These emails can all be the same or all be different. It’s up to YOU! To change your corporate contact emails, go to the “Edit My Details” Page. To Change your Customer Contact Emails, go to the “My Restaurants” Page. Customer Contact Emails are not mandatory. Corporate Contact Emails are mandatory.

 

To Set-Up your EMAIL ALERTS, Follow these 2 EASY STEPS

 

 1. Manage Your EMAIL Adresses

GO TO “My emails“, on the right hand side of your page after you log into Doha Delivery as a Restaurant Manager.

Clicking on the link will take you to the MY EMAILS Page.

This page will list automatically list your Corporate Emails and will show if they have been VERIFIED.

A Verified Email is an email address that was sent an authentication email from Doha Delivery. The Email Owner must click on the authentication link in this email, then the Email is considered VERIFIED. We have to go through this procedure  to be sure the email addresses are correct!

On this page, you can add and delete email addresses.

PLEASE NOTE: IF an email address is listed as your Corporate or Customer Contact Email, you cannot delete it from this list. You must first go to Edit account details on the Details Page and change the email address there.

If you Add a New Email Address, you will have to VERIFY the email address before it can be used for alerts. Once you Verify the email address, the status is automatically updated.

 

2. Manage Your ORDER NOTIFICATIONS

One you have the email addresses in your Email list and they are all verified, go back to your My Details Page.

You can access this page by clicking on My Details (either one) in the top Right Hand Corner.

Once you are on your DETAILS Page, scroll all the way down to the bottom, where it says: ORDER NOTIFICATIONS

Here you can set your Order Notifications by selecting which email addresses will receive Order Alerts.

First click the first Radio Box that says “Send order status notification to my Mailbox”

Once you Select (check) that Radio Box, all the Email Addresses in your “My emails” list will show up. Select which emails you want your Order Alerts sent to by checking the boxes!
